Meet the bloggers of Ixora-Hairouna

Hi there, welcome to our blog!

Left to Right: Resa and Sarina

We are Sarina and Resa from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a multi-island country in the south of the Caribbean. We started this blog as a medium to document our stylish adventures while living in New Zealand. We will feature our personal style, the personal style of other Vincentians, fun events in and around Auckland, D.I.Y. tips, and much more!

The blog title, Ixora Hairoua, represents two cultural signifiers. An ixora is a vibrant flowering plant which grows at home, and in other tropical and sub-tropical areas throughout the world. While Hairouna, Land of the Blessed, is the name given to St. Vincent and the Grenadines by the Kalinago before the European settlers arrived there. We thought it would be fun to put those two together. And there you have it, Ixora-Hairouna.

Thank you for joining us on these adventures and we hope you enjoy our blog.
